Law Number 1 of 2014 on Amendments to Law Number 27 of 2007 on the Management of Coastal Areas and Small Islands
- Coastal areas and small islands are controlled by the state and utilized for the greatest prosperity of the people. Law No. 27 of 2007 has not provided adequate authority and responsibility for the state regarding the management of Coastal Waters and Small Islands, thus several articles need to be refined in accordance with the developments and legal needs of society.
- The legal basis for this Law is: the 1945 Constitution Articles 5 paragraph (1), Article 18 B paragraph (2), Article 20, Article 25A, as well as Article 33 paragraphs (3) and (4).
- This Law regulates: the amendments to Law No. 27 of 2007 by establishing definitions of terms used in its regulations. The amendments to the provisions in Law No. 27 of 2007 include: Amendments to Article 1 numbers 1, 17, 18, 19, 23, 26, 28, 29, 30, 31, 32, 33, 38, 44, with the insertion of number 18A between numbers 18 and 19, and the insertion of number 27A between numbers 27 and 28. Article 14 paragraph (1) (7); Title of Section One in Chapter V; Article 16; Article 17; Article 18; Article 19; Article 20; Article 21; Article 22; Insertion of 3 articles between Article 22 and Article 23, namely Article 22A, Article 22B, and Article 22C; Article 23; Insertion of 1 article between Article 26 and Article 27, namely Article 26A; Article 30: Article 50; Article 51; Article 60, paragraph (2) Article 63; Article 7; Article 75; insertion of 1 Article between Article 75 and Article 76, namely Article 75A; insertion of 2 articles between Article 78 and Article 79, namely Article 78A and Article 78B.
